Oman's Investments in NPP Belene

Oman wants to participate in the construction of NPP Belene. The country's investment fund "Oman Oil Company" is ready to participate in the building of Bulgaria's second nuclear power station.
Authorities expressed willingness to invest more than 4 billion EUR in Bulgaria. 700 million EUR will be for the construction of the Burgas - Alexandroupolis pipeline, became clear after the visit of Rumen Ocharov, Bulgaria's Economy and Energy Minister to the Arab Sultanate.
Ovcharov signed an agreement of mutual protection and investments' encouragement with Ahmed Macki, the Minister of National Economy of Oman.
Firms from Oman are ready to cooperate with Bulgarian firms in the areas of construction, medicine, spa tourism and education.
