Sunny Beach Overbuilt, Construction Works Move South

The reason: Any free spot near the coast have been built - up.
The resort has been so over-developed that if anyone wants to build a new hotel will have to tear down an old one.
Round 200 hotels with await tourists this summer season on the Sunny Beach resort.
The free space is presently being filled up with the construction of 17 new hotels in the western part of the resort - near the Bourgas-Varna road, the Standart daily announced.
The whole region is so overbuilt that not an inch was left free from Nessebar to St. Vlas.
The lack of undeveloped area near the coast in Nessebar area, forced investors to redirect their intentions southwards.
The recently almost wild sea coasts of Tsarevo and Sinemorets villages are now turned into building sites of more than 30 new hotels.
The investments in the northern Black Sea coast are mainly in holiday villages and residential complexes, the Standart daily announced.
Other preferred and often met investment is in golf course surrounded by villas that supposedly may attract keen golfers and their families all year round.
