7.08% unemployment in Bulgaria in May 2009

The unemployment level in Bulgaria in May is 7.08%, informed the Employment agency. This is 0.04 points higher than the April level. The average monthly level since the beginning of the year is less than 7 – 6.84%, informed BNR.
In the Bureaus of labor 262 997 unemployed people are registered currently. This is with 1404 people more than the last month. In May 11 unemployed people compete for one place (on average for the country).
The number of the newly registered in the Bureaus of labor reduces. Due to the seasonal animation on the primary market, especially in the Black sea regions, many unemployed people are set on the primary labor market, accounts the Employment agency.
