In the countries of EU have to be produced only safe cigarettes, which die out on their own.

This offer of the Bulgarian EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva was voted with big majority by the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee of EU

Safety cigarettes will be with double or triple wrapper. Lighted and forgotten, or thrown while still burning, they will die out without causing fires.

Introducing standards of producing of such cigarettes will save hundreds of human life in EU and will save many big material damages, caused by fires.

According to data of 16 Europe countries, every year, because of non extinguished cigarettes burst out round 11, 000 domestic and forest fires, about 550 people die and more 1600 bear heavy injuries. Material damages are estimated to hundreds of millions EUR.
