Until 31 August every Bulgarian can participate in the preliminary choice for a symbol of Bulgaria, with which the country to be recognized and popularized in the European union and around the world, announced BNR.

The aim of the “Bulgarian symbols” campaign is the people too choose the most typical Bulgarian creation, with which the population is proud. A creation commensurable with the Louvre, Stonehenge, the tango, the siesta or the matrioshkas.

The actual voting for Bulgarian symbol start at the end of September The participants will choose between the selected and confirmed for voting symbols.

Every Bulgarian can give his suggestion for a symbol at www.bulgariainfo.info by the end of the month. Access is free. Suggestions can also be made in every branch of the Bulgarian Posts throughout the country.
