The Bulgarian national Martin Petrov will most probably be titular for his team Manchester City in the game against Tottenham in the end of the week. The reason is the injury of the start of the “Citizens” Robino. The Brazilian striker wont be able to play in the match against Tottenham. Robino was substituted at the end of the game with Manchester United (0:2) when he felt pain.
“He feels pain in the adductors. The doctors tried to make everything possible to recover him but most probably this wont happen for the match with Tottenham”, commented the manager of the team Marc Hughs.
The manager of “City” said also that Martin Petrov wasn’t in his best shape but nevertheless he would be used. “Martin Petrov is not in an optimal form. He was our for a long time and it is normal to need more time to get in good playing condition. However, I can say that a serious progress is being noticed. Robino is injured and most probably Martin will have to substitute him”, said also Hughs.
