Stanishev: Arms Export to India Can be Improved

Bulgaria exports special production for India for $ 20-30 M per year, which is times less then the level of export in the late 80s. This claimed in front of journalist the Bulgarian prime minister Sergei Stanishev who is on a 6-day working visit to India, informs lev.bg.The prime minister added that it was difficult to expect that the arms export could be restored to its previous volume. However, this export can be improved significantly. Hence, Sergei Stanishev and his Indian colleague Manmohan Singh have discussed the possibility in the near future for the intergovernmental defense commission, which hasn't had sessions since 1995, to gather again.
