Kristiana Valcheva: Ordinary People in Libya are Good People

Hundreds of people waited for the return of the Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor in front of the Sofia airport VIP. Some of them waited for several hours on the 35C degree heat just to spot the medics for seconds.Armed with Bulgarian flags, photo and video cameras, citizens joined sponatneously at Sofia airport to welcome the medics. They were shouting ceaselessly “Innocent” while waiting for tehir compatriots to land in Sofia.
“I am happy to be at last on Bulgarian land”, were the first words of Kristiana Valcheva to the journalists, who were trying to ask her questions.
I would come back to Libya, confessed surprisingly for all Kristiana saying that “Not all memories from there are bad. Ordinary people in Libya are good people”. She added that according to her in 30-40 years Libya could be a completely different from now country.
