Budget 2009 must be more conservative than planned, because of the financial crisis.

This is the opinion of the Chair of the Bulgarian commerce chamber Bozhidar Danev.

According to the experts in the chamber inflation next year will be lower than planned, but the increase of GDP will not be 4.5% as planned.

"I do not expect an increase of more than 2% and a little over and these are the optimistic forecasts", Bozhidar Danev said, cited by BNR.

This will lead to a more serious deficit on the current account, leading to instability. There will be no budget surplus.

"The budget must be cautiously prepared", the Chair of the Bulgarian commerce chamber reiterated several times.

He defined as "creating amazement and many questions" the spending of finances by the government for the construction public business parks.

"The problem is not that the state will start construction, this will happen one way or another. The problem is who will manage these business parks, golf fields etc", Bozhidar Danev said and added that so these investments are profitable, they must be managed correctly, to attract new investments and additional capital.
