The relatives of the five Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death in Libya will set up a fund to help their loved ones.
Emil Uzunov, husband of one of the nurses - Valya Chervenyashka told reporters after he met with Sofia's mayor Boyko Borisov.
The fund is called ‘Fund for Protection of the Victims of the Libya AIDS Case 4499'. The purpose of the fund is to gather money to sue the Bulgarians, responsible for the tragedy.
A possible sms campaign was also discussed.
‘The purpose of the fund is to save the nurses to sue those who are responsible for their situation now. We will also meet with the Chief prosecutor - Boris Velchev. When will the Bulgarians responsible for the tragedy, some of whom still working in the Foreign Ministry, be brought to justice," Mr Uzunov said.
He mentioned the names of Lyudmil Spasov, Rumen Petrov and Petko Dimitrov. ‘I have said long time ago that I don't trust this country. I haven't trusted it before and I don't now', Uzunov said, adding that in his opinion his spouse hadn't received any real protection by her country.
