The Prime-Minister announced the highway is part of the project of constructing a new modern road infrastructure, which is a priority for the Government.

"The project is extremely hard. It includes 26 bridge equipments and 3 tunnels. The value of this project is 137 Million Euro. The highway will make comfort not only for Sofia, but also to the transeuropean passage 4" said the Prime-Minister.

The highway will be constructed by the Turkish consortium "Mapa Chingiz". The president of the consortium promised the highway will be finished in time.

At the ceremony were present the Minister of Transport Petar Mutavchiev, lieder of the Delegation of the European committee for Bulgaria Michael Humphries, the Ambassador of Turkey in Bulgaria and several Deputies.
