Bulgarian Foresters On Strike

Bulgarian forest sector workers announced effective strike actions starting from today, October 4. According to the Strike Committee's data the forestry in Blagoevgrad, Pazardjik and Smolian are the initiators.
Earlier this year the rangers leaded national protest and wrote a declaration to the Government demanding for 25% increase from June 1, 10% from July 1 and 100% from September.
The protesters also called to be provided resources in the State Forests Agency's budget for paying the extra and night work.
No agreement is achieved by now.
