8 Englishmen arrested in Varna for vandalism

8 citizens of Great Britain have been arrested in the Bulgarian sea capital Varna for vandal acts. This informed the press center of the town’s police, cited by BTA.
The signal for the tourists’ behavior is submitted by two residents of Varna around 3.20 am today.
They have explained that in the city center around 10 men in an obviously not sober condition are shouting in English, throwing, jostling and breaking benches and trash bins.
The people that informed the police have made remarks in English to the vandals, who instead of stopping with the vandal acts, have started to swear and insult. Some of them have started to untie their belts and the challenge the Bulgarians to fight.
5 police teams were sent to the place. Five of the arrested were taken to First police department and the other three – to Third police department. Help has been given to one of them because he had hit his hand.
The foreigners have entered Bulgaria on 30 March through Burgas airport. They have reservations in Varna and their stay was supposed to continue till 3 April.
