Austrian company will most probably be the new general sponsor of CSKA, claims “Meridian Match”. This is ORS (Oesterreichische Rundfunksender GmbH & Co KG). The company is a leading Austrian provider of services in the analogue and digital radio and TV distribution technologies.

At the moment the last negotiations between the two parties are going on and it is very possible a contract to be signed which responds to the CSKA trademark.

ORS originates from the Austrian state TV ORF and is established in the beginning of 2005.
Stakeholders in it are ORF (60%) and Medicur Sendeanlagen GmbH – member of Raiffeisen Holding Vienna (40%).

In the beginning of December the company signed agreements with BTC for the purchase of National management “Radio and TV station”. Three months ago, however, the deal was postponed.

The ORS contract with CSKA is expected to be for 2 years. CSKA’s last sponsor was Vivatel, which withdrew last summer after the club’s license for the European tournaments was taken away.

In March the “reds” negotiated with three insurance companies, but agreement was not reached with any of them. They offered too low prices regarding the trademark through which they wanted to advertise.

The interesting fact is that in the new season CSKA will have a second advertiser, the name of which is still a secret.

The advertiser is already contracted and will be announced next week. Its logo will be on the shorts of the “reds” while the main sponsor will be on their T-shirts.
