The team of Tottenham has not given up its intention to attract the player of Manchester City and of the Bulgarian national team Martin Petrov, claimed the English “Sun”. The interest of Berbatov’s former team in the 30-year old football player dates 2 years back  but at that time Marto tuned down the offer of “White Heart Lane” and instead went to the “citizens”. Last month Tottenham renewed its interest and the sum that was spoken about was 6 million pounds.

According to the British tabloid it is very possible the deal between the two clubs to be made in the summer.

Martin Petrov’s contract on “Eastland’s” expires in the end of the next season after this one he played hardly 14 matches for Premiership and Europe in which he scored two goals.
