The rearrangement of the layers of the financial markets on one chain has an effect on the Bulgarian banker.
For Bulgaria the short term effect will be not so much the sharp increase of interest rates, but difficulties in the receiving of bank credit. This was announced by Alexander Bojkov, who is a co-chair of the Center for economic development, in the Darik programme "Who is speaking".
The rise of the interest rates means an increase of the interest levels on deposits and banks are not ready for such sudden movements, Bojkov said and added: "The Central bank exerts a very strong control over all bank policies. We have a very strong Central bank because of the currency board regarding bank control, so they cannot do whatever they want".
