The French police has arrested on Tuesday six Bulgarian construction workers, informed the newspaper “Telegram”.

They were arrested in the town of Scaer, in the northeastern part of the country.

The reason for the arrest according to the defended of the six Bulgarians is a secret circular letter of the French ministry of immigration and integration which requires all Bulgarian and Romanian citizens to request a work permit from the authorities every three months, despite the fact that they might be hired with completely normal labor contracts.
Exactly this is the case with the arrested six Bulgarians in Scaer, claims the attorney Merajoux in front of the newspaper.

“The Bulgarian authorities are not informed about the secret circular letter because France has not informed them”, claimed Merajoux.

The Bulgarian construction workers were hired legally by a construction company for the restoration of the town of local poet.

Their defender claims that the Bulgarians have local address registration, valid identity cards and valid contract. However, they have fallen into the network of the French police which continues its operation for identifying illegal immigrants throughout the country. 

The Bulgarians have now to go to court where a judge can repeal their extradition based on proofs, writes the newspaper.
