Susana Baca opens 5th Jazz+ fest in Sofia

The concert of the Peruvian singer Susana Baca will open the fifth edition of the festival “Jazz+” on 24 May in Hall Bulgaria, Sofia.
Two year ago Susana Baca gave two successive concerts again in Hall Bulgaria and then promised to the Bulgarian public to come back. Here the Afro-Peruvian singer will present her new album, which includes interpretations from six poems.
On the stage of Hall Bulgaria Susana Baca will go out with the guitarist Sergio Valderos (author of most of the arrangements of the new songs), the pianist Jose Martin Correo and the attractive Ugo Bravo “Chikitin”, who plays exotic percussion instruments.
Susana Baca’s concert in Sofia marks the beginning of her European tour.
The festival continues in June with concerts of the French-Vietnamese guitarist Nguen Li, the table master Trilok Gurtu and the trio Ania Lehner, Vassilis Cabropulos and U.T. Gandi.
