Alexandra Jekova - one of Bulgaria's best snowboard competitors won the silver in the third competition of the Snowboard Cross World Cup for women that took place in the Lake Placid winter resort in the U.S.
Jekova's participation in the tournament marked her best performance for the season and in her entire career.
Sani Jekova ranked third in the World Cup Snowboard Championship held in Kronplatz, Italy in 2006 and finished third in the giant slalom for the World Snowboard Cup in Furano, Japan, February this tear.
