"The AIDS trial against the Bulgarian medics in Libya can be moved to another Arab country - Egypt, Tunis, Morocco, or Alger" said their lawyer Vladimir Shaitanov.

According to him Bulgaria and the lawyers of the medics haven't another choice but to move the trial. "The new AIDS trial in another Arab country will have the same accusation, same evidence and witnesses, but it will be objective and fair and non-political" he said.

The legal reason for beginning of a new trial is in the fact that Libya vitiated the trial and made it political, and also lowered the reputation of some political figures.

"Who lied to Tony Blair and Romano Prody that the trial will be fair and objective?" asked Shaitanov. "Libya will demonstrate objectivity if the trial will be moved in another country. This case will not end for at least another six months" he prognosticated.
