Association of Varna - capital of culture was registered in court on Monday, August 6, informed its chairman Mihail Mihov.

Main purpose of the association is Varna city to become European Cultural Capital.

Varna could be titled with this honor in 2019. This is the closer year still without elected candidate. Citizens of Varna went mad about the idea from its fraternize city of Genoa, Italy.

Until 2019, Varna's association and Varna's municipality aim to accomplish infrastructural projects, repairs of cultural objects.

Among the priorities is construction of modern concert hall.
