Bulgarian state is on the way to lose one of the last wild beaches on Bulgarian costal strip with amazing levity.

‘Irakli' zone is home of unique for whole Europe animal, bird and plant species and one of the symbols of Bulgarian active civil society, which was fighting with all its might against the corrupted schemes in the urbanizing of wild nature.

Despite the unambiguous warning from EC that all structure funds for Bulgaria will be stopped if the ‘NATURA 2000' zones would not be prevented from construction and urbanization, pictures, shot last week, show that the investor Swiss Property (an offshore company, registered in Swiss canton Tsug), with the kind assistance/inaction of Bulgarian Government and especially The Ministry of Environment and Waters, have already started a monolithic construction in the ‘NATURE 2000' zone ‘Irkali-Emine'.

The started construction violates not only the European lawgiving in the name of European Habitats and Birds Directives.

The started concreting of the last wild beach violates also a row of Bulgarian laws, too.

Civil group ‘Let's Save Irakli' warns these actions are close to evoke active civil strikes.

If Bulgarian Government take the side of an offshore company and stand against its own people in the face of Bulgaria's reasoning people, it risks to deprive Bulgaria from EU Structure Funds granting and to compel Bulgarians to go out on the street in last attemps to change this state, the environmentalists threatened.
