Germans To Invest In Eco Briquettes Factory

Local company Ecobiotherm will build a factory for the briquetting of green waste in the area of Dolna Oriahovitsa Dnevnik reports.
The investor has submitted the project for approval to the local municipal authorities.
Ecobiotherm has said it will implement the project in its capacity as a local representative of an unnamed German corporation. The factory will briquette hay, sunseed, maize and vine stalks and timber waste. The 2.5 euro facility will create 50 to 80 jobs.
The company has already set its sights on 6.1 ha of municipal land suitable for the construction of the factory. The municipality has already initiated a sale procedure for 3.1 ha of the same tract. It is priced at 310,000 levs.
Ecobiotherm plans to break ground for the plant in late February with September as the launch target.
