There are people who prefer tarantulas to cats but spiders are not considered to be among man's best friends.

However, they also deserve attention and if you know them better, you might love them. It is a pity that the exhibition in the National Museum of Natural History does not have living spiders, but its 50 screens with pictures and information tell and show a lot about the Master of the Web. With this event the Museum celebrates 120 years of its founding -more events on this occasion are still to be announced.

The spiders exhibition is available since 15 January.
