The suspension of the gas supply the metallurgic enterprise “Kremikovtzi” went on without any failures, under the control of experts from the Regional inspectorate for environment and waters – Sofia.

The consumption of natural gas by the enterprise was completely stopped at 12.30 pm today.

There are no working equipments and installations. In the period of the suspension, no exceeding of the allowed quantities of harmful substances in the air was registered.  The mobile laboratory to Executive agency “Environment” remains positioned and will make measurements in the next days.

The regional inspectorate for environment and water – Sofia will continue to maintain constant relation with the leadership of the enterprise.

Meanwhile the protest of the workers from “Kremikovtzi” in front of the ministry of economy and energy reached its peak and there were collisions between the police and the protestors.

Workers tried to cross the police bars. Two people are arrested.

During the protest it became clear that the minister of economy Peter Dimitrov was not in the building of the ministry. Only the political team was there.
